James Wang, MD.
Huijian(James) Wang was born and raised in Suzhou, one of garden cities in China. He did his medical school training in Shanghai, China. Afterwards, he moved to Canada for further graduate studies with Dr. Kim Solez, who, he regards, is one of the best mentors. It was Edmonton, Canada where he met his beloved wife, Youli. He then moved to New York for learning of patient care and suave manners. Now he is doing his molecular biology training under the mentorship of Dr. Thomas Quertermous. His projects focus on atherosclerosis prone genes. How long he is going to stay in the lab remains a question. He seems to be too comfortable in the lab to move on to his clinical cardiology training.
